Where appropriate our solicitors appear personally before the courts and tribunals with which they deal. They appear regularly in the Supreme and Planning & Environment Courts in Brisbane and the Planning & Environment, District and Magistrates Courts in Southport. Our solicitors perform most of their own advocacy work only engaging counsel in some of the more complex matters.

We strongly advocate negotiated settlements where possible but will not advise our clients to settle without all relevant information being available and even then only in circumstances where the settlement is fair and equitable.

In addition to litigation, we are experienced in resolving disputes through the use of various Appropriate Dispute Resolution methods, including mediation, negotiation, conciliation and settlement conferencing.

We appreciate that future disputes can often be avoided through risk management in the present. Accordingly, we provide advice on action which our clients can take now, to prevent or reduce the likelihood of future disputes before they occur.
